How does the free generation trial work?
Each verified account receives 60 minutes once, with no expiry. Use the desktop extension to turn your own videos into manuscripts. It does not renew each month or enable automatic channel generation.
What happens when I use all my hours?
New generation pauses until your next billing period. Monthly hours do not roll over, and we never charge automatic overages. Existing unlocked, saved and personally generated manuscripts remain readable.
Can I read without an account?

What counts as a read?
Your free account can unlock 7 new shared articles every 7 days. Once unlocked, an article stays readable. Reopening it or switching languages uses no extra read. Next reset: .
How is processing shared?
A 60-minute video uses 60 minutes of processing allowance, shared by eligible members following the channel before the video was published. Three participating members use 20 minutes each; one member covers all 60. English and your selected language are included in the same share. Reading an existing shared manuscript uses no processing allowance. Only members with enough remaining allowance and a suitable per-video limit participate; free followers do not split the generation time. Your share is fixed when the task starts. Manual extension generation uses the requesting account’s allowance; your monthly subscription price does not change.
Can I generate automatically?
Anyone with a free account can follow any YouTube channel. Choose your reading language on your first follow. Free followers receive available reads; only members trigger new generation. Automatic and manual processing share the same allowance.
New processing is available with membership or trial time. Existing shared reads use no processing allowance.
What if generation fails?
Unfulfilled shares are returned without increasing another supporter’s share. If a supporter requests English and Chinese, both are required to settle that supporter’s share. Completed versions may remain available.
What stays saved?
Saved manuscripts and reading progress stay in your account, including after membership ends, unless content is formally blocked. There is no separate saving limit.
How does membership renew?
Billed monthly. Cancel anytime; membership stays active until the end of your paid period.
