These terms govern your use of the BingeRead Chrome extension and companion web app.

Operator

BingeRead is provided by the operator of the BingeRead service and the bingeread.app website. Legal, billing, privacy, and support notices can be sent to support@bingeread.app.

Service description

The service helps users access video transcripts, improve transcript readability, generate summaries, and export transcript content in common formats.

Accounts and subscriptions

• A Google account may be required to access account-based, credit-based, or paid features.
• Paid plans renew automatically until canceled.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions through the billing portal linked from the account page.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• You keep access to the paid plan through the period already paid for, and the plan will not renew after that period ends.
• Credits are tied to the billing period in which they are granted and do not roll over after that period expires.
• Canceling a subscription does not automatically refund credits or usage already consumed.

Refunds and billing issues

Refund requests are reviewed case by case. Refunds may be granted for duplicate charges, technical billing errors, accidental purchases, or first-time subscription purchases where BingeRead did not work as reasonably expected.

Please submit refund requests within 7 days of the charge. Refunds are generally less likely after substantial paid usage has already been consumed, after repeated refund requests, or where abuse, fraud, chargeback misuse, or violation of these terms is involved. Nothing in these terms limits any non-waivable consumer rights or refund rights you may have under applicable law.

Third-party services and video platforms

BingeRead works with transcript or caption data available from supported video pages, including YouTube and Bilibili. BingeRead is independent and is not affiliated with YouTube, Google, or Bilibili. Your use of video platforms and third-party services remains subject to their own terms and policies.

Acceptable use

• Do not use the service for unlawful, infringing, abusive, or fraudulent activity.
• Do not attempt to interfere with the service, billing flow, or access controls.
• Do not use the service to violate platform rules, copyright law, privacy rights, or other third-party rights.

AI output disclaimer

AI-generated output may be incomplete or inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing generated content before relying on it for publishing, business, legal, or safety-critical use.

Availability and changes

We may update, limit, suspend, or discontinue features, models, pricing, free credits, or integrations as the product evolves or as third-party platform access changes. We will try to avoid unnecessary disruption, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of every feature.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for abuse, non-payment, fraud, or violation of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the BingeRead operator, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be handled by a court or authority with jurisdiction over the operator, unless mandatory consumer protection law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
